Restaurant-as-a-lab was the driving concept behind our collaboration with the Fog Rose team. Juxtaposed against the dense cityscape of Bellevue, the design concept was intended to be a botanically inspired romantic retreat. Muted earthy tones of greens and pastel pinks emphasize the botanical feel, while brass accents and white-washed wood help modernize the space. Soft lighting and velvet upholstered furniture were used liberally throughout to help offset the glass and concrete shell, while completing the ethereal feel of the space and setting guests up for a truly unique and intimate dining experience.
