Located in the Ballard/Fremont area, the goal of this project was to renovate a former gas station into what is now a locally owned, family-friendly restaurant. The scope of work included an addition for seating, a new commercial kitchen, bar, service area, lighting, and seating for approximately 99 patrons. The design makes use of reclaimed wood and custom barn doors to establish Giddy Up’s signature rustic theme. Giddy Up’s defining feature is the covered outdoor seating area, an eye-catching addition meant to mimic elements from the Pacific Northwest region and to contribute to the ruggedness of the space.
