Mioposto is an open-flame pizzeria local to the greater Seattle area, sourcing the majority of their ingredients locally, and cooking in their locally fabricated custom pizza ovens. The goal behind the design of Mioposto’s Ravenna and Admiral locations was to create cozy neighborhood escapes that were approachable and intimate. The material palette in both locations leaned heavily on textural brick walls and the glowy oranges of an open flame to create an overall feeling of warmth and character. The scope of work at each location involved adding new kitchens that incorporated the custom ovens, bars with custom wine storage, and outdoor dining areas.
