This Wallingford remodel is a long-time client that invited Strata back to complete a second-story addition to their early 1900’s home. In addition to the kitchen remodel completed 10 years earlier, we were able to expand the upstairs by adding dormers to maximize their footprint and opportunities for natural light, while keeping the home feeling connected to its original style. Dual dormers at the back 2/3 of the house allowed for a spacious owner’s suite, including walk-in closet, a more usable office space, and a second bathroom. A new dormer at the front bedroom topped off the remodel by creating a more comfortable teenage escape.
